- When beewitched.com was online, it used to be affiliated with ikbodsims, Sims Architectural Supplies, Keep It Simple and Ingela's Simhouse. Affiliation is a bond between sites and their owners and has more meaning to me than just slapping someone's banner on my frontpage. So, no, I do not affiliate with people I don't know or have not come to respect as members of the community. Sorry.
Usage of my creations:
- Recolouring/Retexturing:
- You may recolour or retexture every creation that is downloadable on this site. Your graphics must be noticeably different to mine.
- Paysites & Donation Sets:
- My creations and bases may not be used to make new items to sell on paysites or subscription sites. They also may not be used to create donation sets or items. Bottom line: my items may not be used in any way to benefit your income/sales. If you want to use my creations and bases for any of these purposes, you must contact me first.
- Distribution of your Recolours:
- You may offer your recolours of my items on your FREE site for download. Please give me credit for the base object(s) and it would be nice if you would link back to this site.
- Distribution of objects from this site:
- You may not offer the original items from this site on your site for download, not in part or whole and you may not sell any item downloaded from this site. You may not include files from this site in any houses you offer elsewhere.
- Artwork
- The artwork contained in the files is copyrighted to fairywitch.net and may not be extracted and used for any other purpose than making your own recolour of an item for use in the Sims 1 game.
- Screenshots
- You may use any of my items in screenshots you put online.
Usage of this website:
Of course, you are allowed to browse this website, read all information and download to your heart's content. HOWEVER, in the past a few other creators found it necessary to copy my FAQ's and/or other information WORD FOR WORD and used it on their websites as their own with no mention of the original author and, while this may be called "flattering" by some, it is blatent theft and plagiarism. In layman's terms this is known as "stealing" and breaching copyright of MY written text. It's not so much the copyright being violated in legal terms which makes me angry, it is the fact that people have no morals, common courtesy or decency.
If you need to use anything from this website on YOUR website, you must ask for permission!
Images on this website
I have hotlink protection enabled on images and zips. If you are using a firewall, you will have to allow for "private headers" on this site IF the images are not displaying for you. What this means is, that my server can identify you are not trying to download images or zips to your browser from any other place than this site. If it can't, it will not display images to you. If you are unsure about how to do this in your firewall, visit the manufacturer's website for more information.
